Rs.1,000 crore on Pavala Vaddi to SHGs

MAHABUBNAGAR: The Minister for Rural Development G. Chinna Reddy said that the Government was providing buildings to the Self Help Groups at village, mandal and district-level by spending Rs.27 crore in the State.

Addressing a gathering organised in connection with the World Women’s day here on Saturday the Minister informed that Government has decided to extend financial assistance to the tune of Rs.1,000 crore on Pavala Vaddi to the Self Help groups in the coming five years. The Minister also informed that Rs.130 crore has being extended to the SHGs in the district.

Cheques given

On the occasion the Minister distributed checks to the SHGs amounting Rs.2 crore 34 lakhs.

Local MLA Puli Veeranna, Municipal Chairperson Obedullah Kotwal, Collector V.Usharani, Joint Collector Christina and others also participant.
