Legalisation of sex trade sought

Staff Reporter

NEW DELHI: A free stitching and tailoring programme was organised at G.B. Road here for sex workers on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Welcoming the move, Bhartiya Patita Uddhar Sabha has asked the Government to legalise the profession of sex workers so that they can earn their livelihood and save themselves from the atrocities . The Sabha said they should be given licence to carry on their profession in the red light area till the profession was legalised.
