Two-day workshop for school teachers

A two-day workshop for primary school teachers on awareness about and responding to Child Sexual abuse got under way at the Dr. MGR Janaki College for Women on Saturday. According to a press release here, the workshop, the third in the series, is being organised by the Rotary International District 3230 and its New Horizons Committee.

The resource persons from Tulir Centre for Prevention and Healing of Child Sexual Abuse, have been giving tips to teachers to pick up distress signals from their students.
