Police ‘inaction’ irks Gone who takes recourse to law RTC chief fears threat to life, claims getting calls on mobile Hyderabad: Former APSRTC chairman Gone Prakash Rao has decided to approach the court on Monday seeking action into the US visas acquired by Congress MP Madhu Yashki Goud’s family members. He said no action had been initiated on the complaint given by him to the DGP two months ago. “I have lost trust in the police and would like to seek legal remedy”, Mr. Rao told presspersons here on Saturday. DenialMr. Rao also feared threat to his life claiming that he had been receiving threatening calls over his mobile during the last couple of days. He stoutly denied the charge that he was a blackmailer and had forged the documents to malign Mr. Yashki. He had received them from an unknown person after parting with Rs. 1.50 lakh. The same person had contacted him the other day and offered to hand over the proof of double passports owned by the MP. But now he suspected that this might be a ploy to trap him, Mr. Rao said. He had met the Police Commissioner on Friday and urged him to approach the US government directly. “This will conclusively prove if Mr. Yashki’s claims are right or the information I have is correct”, Mr. Rao said.
