Belgaum
Belgaum: Katkol Urban Cooperative Bank Limited (KUCBL) in Ramdurg of Belgaum district and Sindhnuru Urban Cooperative Bank (SUCO Bank) signed a merger agreement here on Saturday. The chairman of SUCO Bank and MLC, Manohar Maski, and the chairman of Katkol bank, G.D. Parshetty, signed the agreement in the presence of the directors of both the banks, Suresh C. Angadi, MP, and the former MLA Mahadevappa Yadwad here. Announcing the decision on merger, Mr. Maski said that interests of depositors and employees of Katkol bank would be protected.
