New Ariyalur Collector assumes charge

ARIYALUR: R. Sudalaikannan (47) took over as the Collector of Ariyalur district on Sunday. He replaces Xavier Chrisso Nayagam who has been posted as the Joint Secretary, Animal Husbandry Department. Mr. Sudalaikannan previously served as Deputy Secretary, Industries Department. He assumed charge in the presence of the District Revenue Officer K. Pulamadan, Superintendent of Police M.S. Muthusamy and senior officials.

In a chat with presspersons, Mr. Sudalaikannan said that he would accord priority for improving economic conditions of the poor, especially labourers and farmers.
