BERHAMPUR: A workshop on empowerment of women was organised at the Khallikote autonomous college on Sunday. It was organised by the women’s cell of the college ‘Shakti’ under the sponsorship of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The experts attending the workshop advised the girls to have some financial power in future as it decreases exploitation of women and provides equal status in the families in this male-dominated society.
