Government to showcase FOSS

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State government will be showcasing free and open source software (FOSS) and its relevance in e-governance during the KeralaIT.com 2008 conclave to be held at the Technopark near hear from March 13 to 15. The Kerala State Information Technology Mission, National Informatics Centre, Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, Keltron and SPACE (a non-profit organisation) will be among those displaying their software. A three-day seminar will be organised as part of the conclave on ‘Cutting edge and viable solutions through use of IT.’ – Special Correspondent
