Legal consultancy centre on the anvil

MANGALORE: Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Law College and Centre for Postgraduate Studies in Law here, will establish a nodal centre to provide legal consultancy services shortly. Stating this in a press release here on Sunday, principal of the college B.K. Ravindra has said that the centre would form a panel of senior lawyers of Mangalore Bar Association to provide the legal consultancy services at affordable costs to the needy. Those who need legal consultancy can approach this centre, including entrepreneurs. When contacted, he told The Hindu that services of legal experts from Bangalore and the neighbouring State of Kerala would be made available whenever required. “Our intention is to provide quality service at affordable cost,” he said.

The college has opened an environment cell to provide legal assistance on environment related issues.
