15 refugees arrive at Rameswaram

RAMANATHAPURAM: A group of 15 refugees arrived at naval jetty at Rameswaram on Sunday. The refugees, including 3 children and 5 women, were from Kilinochchi areas in Sri Lanka.

They were handed over to the police.

Commander, S. Mukherji, Area Commander, South, said the fibreglass boat used by them was taken under custody. — Staff Reporter
