Berbatov scores two goals

LONDON: Dimitar Berbatov got Tottenham Hotspur back on track as his double strike set up a 4-0 win over 10-man West Ham in a spiteful London derby on Sunday.

Tottenham defender Gilberto added the third goal on his Premier League debut before Darren Bent struck in the last minute to leave the Hammers in freefall.

The results: Sunderland 0 lost to Everton 1 (Johnson 55); Tottenham 4 (Berbatov 8, 11, Gilberto 85, Bent 90) bt West Ham 0.
