VLCC opens centre in Puducherry

PUDUCHERRY: VLCC Health Care Limited, India, opened its first centre in Puducherry on Monday.

The centre offers weight management programmes and therapeutic beauty solutions.

Addressing a press conference, chief executive officer of VLCC Health Care Limited Yogesh Sethi said obesity caused diabetes, hypertension and coronary heart diseases.

“The programmes are based on scientific principles, and involve doctors, nutritionists, physiotherapists, cosmetologists and psychologists. Standard procedures are followed in all the centres,” Mr. Sethi said.

He said VLCC also offered therapeutic beauty solutions with hundred -odd products manufactured for various beauty solutions.

Costs vary according to the packages and the needs of individual, however a standard is Rs. 3,750 to lose 5 kg, he added.

Diabetologist M.R. Vidhya said reducing weight could prevent various diseases from invading the body.

The managing director of F.A.H.A., V.J. Sadhana, and local business partner S. Parimala spoke on the occasion.
