CHITTOOR: Virupaksha D. Gouda, Senior Civil Judge and Secretary Legal Services Authority has exhorted students to pursue their studies without a break and fulfil the aspirations of their parents who toiled night and day to see them educated. He was participating as the chief guest in the annual day celebrations of VCR Degree College here on Monday. Senior Advocate Pattabiramsami Reddy extolled the academic brilliance of late Kattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy former Vice-Chancellor of Andhra University, an intellectual giant who hailed from Chittoor and advised the youngsters to look up to such a personality as their inspiration and strive to rise to such stature. He has also urged them to do social service habits and participate in community activities when time permits. M. Sankar, branch Manager Indian Overseas Bank said that the banks were coming forward and sanctioning educational loans liberally for the meritorious poor students to continue their studies. V. Chandrasekhar Reddy correspondent of the college and president Lions Club said that several students studying in the college have been selected on the campus for higher studies.
