Wigan holds Arsenal
LONDON: Premier League leader Arsenal suffered a comedown from its midweek Champions League win over AC Milan as it was held to a 0-0 draw by Wigan Athletic on Sunday.
Everton kept up with Liverpool in the race for fourth place with a 1-0 win at Sunderland, and Tottenham beat 10-man West Ham 4-0. Everton scored the only goal of the game when Andrew Johnson put a cross from Mikel Arteta into the net in the 55th minute.
The results: Sunderland 0 lost to Everton 1 (Johnson 55); Tottenham 4 (Berbatov 8, 11, Gilberto 85, Bent 90) bt West Ham 0; Wigan 0 drew with Arsenal 0.
