TENHIPALAM: Calicut University’s Department of Chemistry felicitated A. Ajayaghosh, senior scientist at the National Institute of Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Thiruvanananthapuram, and recipient of Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award of 2007 for chemical sciences, on Monday. Vice-Chancellor Anwar Jahan Zuberi inaugurated the function. P. Mohammed Shafi, head of the Department of Chemistry, and professors K.K. Aravindakshan and M.P. Kannan addressed the gathering. Dr. Ajayaghosh, a former student of the Department, shared his experiences as a student. He delivered a speech on ‘functional supramolecular architectures.’
