VPT sets record

The Visakhapatnam port has set a record on Saturday by unloading 21,969 metric tons of muriate of potash in bulk from the vessel m.v. Mimi Selmer surpassing the previous record of 20,619 metric tons on Aug.11, 2007 from m.v. Jia Shun Shan. Indian Potash Limited, Chennai, has imported the cargo.
