Striking ministerial staff arrested

PUDUCHERRY: The police arrested around 150 ministerial staff on Tuesday for trying to stage a demonstration in front of the Department of Accounts and Treasury.

The staff, who were on strike from last week, tried to stage the demo without permission, the police said.
