In puppets’ company

KOZHIKODE: Exhibition, book release and a puppet show will mark the programme on puppetry, ‘A day with puppets’ to be organised by Natyadarsana Puppet Theatre at the Town Hall here on March 12. The photo exhibition to be held on the occasion will focus on the leather puppets tradition of South India.

G. Venu, director of Nadanakairali, Iringalakuda, will release the book on ‘Pavakaliyude Prayogam Vidyabhasathil’(Puppetry in educational initiatives).

A performance of glove puppets directed by Venu and showcased by artistes of Nadanakairali will be held on the occasion, organisers said.
