JAIPUR: All the village panchayats in Rajasthan have approved annual plans for the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (NREGS) being extended to all the 33 districts in the State from April 1. The job cards for the flagship scheme will be prepared by treating the family as a single unit. Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Kalulal Gujjar told the State Assembly on Tuesday that the Zila Parishads and State Government would approve the plans after the conclusion of meetings in the village panchayats. Mr. Gujjar said that the State Government had reduced the task by 30 per cent to benefit the labourers.
