Chandigarh: The Haryana Government has declared March 30 as holiday for all shops and commercial establishments falling within the jurisdiction limits of Municipal Council, Panchkula and Sardar Patel Wholesale Cloth Market in Karnal in view of the elections of Municipal Council, Panchkula and by-election to Ward No. 13 and 14 of Municipal Council, Karnal. An official spokesman said here on Tuesday that the decision was taken to provide an opportunity to the public to exercise their franchise.
