Man burnt alive in fire accident

VIZIANAGARAM: K. Rama Murthy, 70, was burnt alive in his hut at Poram village in Mentada mandal when 33 huts caught fire on Tuesday afternoon. The fire started in the house of Ch. Pentaiah. It spread to other huts within minutes and the old man who was sleeping could not escape, officials at the Gajapathinagaram fire station said. Mentada ZPTC D. Bhanumati and sarpanch K. Venkat Naidu consoled the victims.
