Anantapur
ANANTAPUR: The crime control squad and Anantapur rural police jointly arrested two members of an inter-State vehicle thieves gang here on Tuesday. A car and 10 two-wheelers valued at about Rs. 6 lakh were recovered from them. According to Anantapur DSP G.S. Karunakar the modus operandi of the gang was making away with cars by threatening the drivers after taking the cars on hire and two-wheelers from busy parking places.
