ACB checks yield Rs. 2.5 lakh

HYDERABAD: A total amount of over Rs.2.5 lakh was seized by the Anti-Corruption Bureau following surprise checks conducted on the Sub-Registrar Offices at Proddatur and Nandyal on Monday. A press release issued by ACB here on Tuesday said Rs.1,57,683 was seized by ACB officials, for which the office staff at Proddatur in Kadapa district could not account. –Special Correspondent
