CM lauds minority panel’s role

NEW DELHI: Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit expressed confidence on Tuesday that the new 15-point minorities welfare programme announced by the Centre would speed up the pace of prosperity for minorities in the city as the Delhi Minorities Commission was all set to facilitate its implementation.

Addressing a seminar on “Role of minorities in the development of Delhi”, the Chief Minister appreciated the Commission’s role in providing quick redress to various grievances of the minorities through open sessions in minority-dominated areas.
