Hyundai gets export orders for ‘i10’

NEW DELHI: Hyundai Motor India (HMI) on Tuesday said it has received 60,000 export orders for its latest compact car ‘i10’ that made its global debut in India in October last year. “By the end of March this year, HMI will ship around 26,000 units of ‘i10’ that is being manufactured only at the company’s Chennai plant. It will be exported to all the major markets across the globe covering over 90 countries by the end of the year,” a company statement said. — Special Correspondent
