VISAKHAPATNAM: The last date for submission of applications for regularisation of unapproved, illegal layouts and constructions in the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority area under the compulsory disclosure provisions of Building Penalisation Scheme (BPS) and Layout Regularisation Scheme (LRS) as per the Gos 112 and 113 issued by the government is March 31. VUDA has formed special teams with the officials and staff for implementation of the regularisation schemes in the Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region. The GO 113 (amended version of GO 902) provides opportunity for regularisation of unapproved layouts, including that of individual plot owners. Regularisation of layouts will pave way for valid transactions. Layouts developed without any statutory approvals from VUDA or with Panchayat approval will attract the provisions of the GO 113. Applications for all such layouts existing prior to December 31, 2007, can be forwarded to VUDA for regularisation, according to VUDA Vice-Chairman G. Venkatram Reddy. The GO 112 (amended version of GO 901) enables regularisation of constructions made without approval or with deviations to the sanctioned plans in the limits of VUDA.
