Kolkata-Dhaka train from April 14

NEW DELHI: The Kolkata-Dhaka train, Maitri Express, will be launched on April 14, Bengali New Year day, Railway Minister Lalu Prasad said on Tuesday. He was replying to the discussion on the Railway budget in the Lok Sabha.

Taking a dig at his critics, particularly from the National Democratic Alliance, the Minister challenged those who accused him of indulging in jugglery to verify his claims on the Railways’ earnings with the Reserve Bank of India.

Referring to an appreciative editorial in the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s mouthpiece Organiser, he asked the Bharatiya Janata Party members to learn a few lessons from it.
