First division: Sundar CC 295 in 42.2 overs (U. Gunaseelan 71, P. Hariraj 56, N.S. Seshamani 42 n.o., V. Prabhu five for 80) bt Aththis CC 212 for nine in 45 overs (B. Narendran 47, S. Vinoth 62).

IEC RC 113 in 29.5 overs (S. Rahunath four for 17) lost to Fine Star CA 116 for three in 19.1 overs (Petson Mathews 61 n.o.).

Sri Vaishnavi CC 157 in 42.3 overs (Ramesh Ramaswamy 44, Srikumar 44, A. Abbas five for 35) lost to Frank Worrell CC 158 for six in 26.3 overs (Lakshimi Narasinha Charri 49, Sri Kumar five for 59).

Second division: TPL RC 116 in 24.3 overs lost to CPCL RC 117 for eight in 23 overs (Murthy five for 42).

Autolec ERC 87 in 26.3 overs (N.A. Vadyanathan five for 21) lost to Thiruvallur CC 89 for three in 11 overs (D. Venkatakrishnan 41 n.o.).

Twenty20 cricket

The SSCA Twenty20 cricket tournament for clubs, corporates, and institutions will be held from April 6 in Chennai.

Chess coaching
