“Pay arrears with interest”

MADURAI: In the general body meeting of Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Commission Retired Employees’ Association conducted on Friday, the forum called for payment of arrears under Fifth Pay Commission with interest.

It also called for sanction of 6 per cent dearness allowance with effect from July 1, 2007. District president L. Govindarajan presided. Secretary S. Subbaiyan presented the annual report, a release said.
