Bike lifter arrested

Hosur: As many as 16 bikes were recovered following the arrest of a bike lifter here on Wednesday.

Acting on instructions from Deputy Superintendent of Police Soundarrajan, a team was conducting vehicle checks at Rayakottai Road when they intercepted one Sivamani of Hosur who was riding a motorcycle.

On interrogation, it was found that he was a bike lifter and as many as 16 bikes stolen and sold by him were recovered.

A case has been registered and further investigations are on.
