Odissi treat by Sonal Mansingh

DHARWAD: Dancer Sonal Mansingh will perform at the Dr. Annajirao Sirur (Srujana) Auditorium here on March 19.

Ms. Mansingh, who is well-versed in Odissi and Bharatanatyam, will present “Sabras,” an Odissi dance programme, according to a release. The Dr. Annajirao Sirur Auditorium Charity Trust has organised the programme.

Illustrious

In a career spanning over almost five decades, Ms. Mansingh has performed in 82 countries. She is the founder of the Centre for Indian Classical Dances.

She is the recipient of several awards including Padma Vibhushan and Kalidas Samman and has been conferred honorary doctorate by the G.B.
