Shimla: Alleging large-scale fraud in the purchase of fertilisers during the previous Congress regime, the BJP Government in Himachal Pradesh has said that action would be taken against suppliers and guilty officials. Nearly 4,87,530 tonnes of fertilisers worth over Rs.8 crore were purchased during 2003 to 2008 from different companies, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said . After sample tests, several companies were blacklisted for supplying sub-standard fertilisers, he said.
