Minister clarifies on Vedanta

BHUBANESWAR: The State Government on Wednesday said that Vedanta Aluminium Limited was not running its alumina refinery at Lanjigarh in Kalahandi district by violating the orders of the Supreme Court.

Replying to an adjournment motion in the Assembly on the issue, Steel and Mines Minister Pradip Kumar Amat said the Supreme Court order did not prevent operation of the alumina refinery.
