Autonagar at Machilipatnam
MACHILIPATNAM: An Autonagar would be developed at Valandapalem near here by the State Government at a cost of Rs.2 crores, by creating required infrastructure facilities like roads, water and power to bring various automobile units scattered in the town to one place. Disclosing this at a press conference on Wednesday, MLA Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) said the Government had provided 40 acres to accommodate nearly 200 automobile units.
He said he had already requested the Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) and the Zonal Manager to visit the site to firm up plans for the development of Autonagar.
