Officials transferred

PUDUCHERRY: Eight officers of the Puducherry Civil Service were transferred on Wednesday.

According to an order issued by Lieutenant Governor Mukut Mithi, Deputy Director of Social Welfare S. Pushparani has been posted as Under Secretary (Welfare), Chief Secretariat. Deputy Director of Women and Child Development R. Chand Sultana has been made Director of Women and Child Development.

Deputy Director of Women and Child Development K. Deivasigamani has been posted as Under Secretary (Finance), Chief Secretariat.

Deputy Director of Adi Dravidar Welfare R. Ponnusamy will be the Deputy Director (Rural Development), Local Administration Department. Deputy Director of Adi Dravidar Welfare R. Chandrasekaran has been posted as Block Development Officer, Oulgaret.

CDPO of Puducherry G. Vasuraj will become the Block Development Officer of Ariyankuppam. CDPO of Karaikal James Pandian has been posted as Officer on Special Duty, Electricity Department.

Deputy Labour Commissioner P. Karunakaran will be the Officer on Special Duty, Collegiate Education, says an official release.
