Call for peace

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Archbishop Joseph Powathil has called for an end to the culture of violence in Kannur. In a statement here on Wednesday, the Archbishop said use of force resulted from the urge to establish political hegemony. The violence being witnessed in the State was the result of this urge among some political formations and certain organisations. – Special Correspondent
