Cooperative vigilance will be made effective: Sudhakaran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Cooperation G. Sudhakran said on Wednesday that the government would frame fresh rules or amend existing ones to ensure effective functioning of the vigilance offices set up under the Cooperative Department.

In an article released here for publication, the Minister said that the State-level vigilance office was being headed by a police official of the rank of the Deputy Inspector-General of police.

Three zonal offices under it would be headed by Deputy Superintendents of police, he said.
