High Court dismisses plea of contractor

Kochi: A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Wednesday dismissed a writ petition challenging the Travancore Devaswom Board’s order terminating the contract given to the proprietor of the Elite India Exporters for making and packaging of ‘Aravana prasadam.’

The petition was dismissed by the Bench of Justice P.R. Raman and Justice V.K. Mohanan. The court had earlier dismissed the contractor’s petition against the termination of the contract. The petitioner filed the fresh petition as he wanted to bring to the notice of the court certain facts. The contract was cancelled on December 17, 2007. The court said that it was still open to the petitioner to seek such remedies as available in law.
