Noble gesture

The eyesight of K. Anantaramulu, 35, a native of Lingamgudam in Khammam district, was restored thanks to noble gesture of 66-year-old Yadla Varalakshmi, a resident of Pandurangapet in Tenali. Following the woman’s death on March 10, her family members donated her eyes to the Swetcha Gora Eye Bank where eye specialist M. S. Raju transplanted it through cornea grafting.
