SVK attack: suspect’s portrait released
Staff Reporter
HYDERABAD: The Chikkadpally police on Wednesday released a portrait of one of the suspects in the attack on the Sundarayya Vignana Kendra based on the description given by the watchman P. Anjaiah.
The watchman and another eyewitness, Venkaiah, were taken to the DGP’s office where experts prepared the portrait based on the particulars given by them.
Except this portrait, the police could not secure any clues about the attackers.
Contradictory accounts
Investigators said eyewitnesses gave contradictory information about the vehicles used by the attackers.
While one said the attackers sped away on a scooter, others told the police that the offenders rode off on two two-wheelers. “No fingerprints or footprints of the attackers could be found at the scene. Moreover, no other person could give any descriptive details of the accused,” an investigator said.
