Not yet ready: Zaheer

Bangalore: Injured speedster Zaheer Khan said that he is not yet ready for international cricket.

Speaking on the sidelines of the Bangalore Royal Challengers team launch function, Zaheer said:

“I am not ready for international cricket, not at the moment. I just started bowling a week back and I am slowly increasing the workload.

Need to play more

“I need to play a few domestic or club matches before I bowl in Tests, where I would be required to bowl around 35 overs over a period of two days.

“I am recovering ahead of time and yes playing in the Deodhar Trophy is ruled out.” — Principal Correspondent
