Three suicide cases in East Delhi
NEW DELHI: Two young women and a girl allegedly committed suicide in different parts of East Delhi during the past 24 hours. Twenty-three-year-old Pooja was found hanging in her house at Farsh Bazar on Wednesday afternoon. Pooja’s husband Rajeev works for a private company at Okhla and the couple have an 18-month-old daughter. Enquiries revealed that they used to have frequent fights.
In another incident, 32-year-old Pratima Devi hanged herself in her house at Krishna Nagar around 6 a.m. on Wednesday. No suicide note was found. A teenaged girl, Manju, allegedly jumped into the Kondli canal following a quarrel with her sister Seema at New Ashok Nagar here on Tuesday night.
