DHARWAD: Award-winning Marathi film, “Aevdhe Se Aabhal (A home in the sky), will be screened for the members of the Suchitra Film Society in Dharwad at 5.30 p.m. on Saturday. The film directed by Bipin Nadakarni will be screened at Srijana auditorium on the Karnatak College campus, Dharwad. The story revolves around 11-year-old Bunty whose parents have separated. With the passage of time, both his parents find new companions, and Bunty finds it difficult to adjust to the developments. The film was the official selection at the Indian Panorama 2007 (IFFI Goa), Third Eye 6th Asian Film Festival, Mumbai, 6th Pune International Film Festival 2008. The film has won several awards, including the best film award at the Zee Gaurav Puraskar, 2008 and 14th Nokia Star Screen Awards, 2008. Ritvik Nadkarni, who plays Bunty, has won the best child actor and best jury award. The film has also won the best director and the best screenplay awards (Bipin Nadakarni), the best cinematography award (Mahesh Limaye) and the best actress award (Pratiksha Lonkar).
