16 Maoists surrender in Bihar

Muzaffarpur: Sixteen Maoists on Thursday surrendered and handed over a huge cache of arms to the police here in Bihar.

Of those who surrendered, five were wanted in several criminal cases, Muzaffarpur SP Ratna Sanjay said.

The naxalites handed over 50 kg explosives, six detonators, two landmines, seven pistols, four rifles, two guns and several rounds of ammunition, Mr. Sanjay said.
