Retired Punjab Police DSP ends life

Amritsar: A retired Punjab Police DSP, facing trial in several criminal cases, allegedly committed suicide at his residence here on Wednesday evening.

Swaran Singh Hundal, 64, was reportedly depressed for the past few months, police said adding he allegedly shot himself dead with his gun.
