PUDUKOTTAI: Commissioner of Town Panchayats K. Gopal reviewed the progress of works being executed under the Anaithu Grama Anna Marumalarchi Thittam in the district on Thursday.

He instructed town panchayat officials to focus on establishing credit linkages for self-help groups and training them in making vermin-composting from municipal solid wastes. He directed them to promote ward-level health committees to promote awareness on hygiene.
