ECoR to run special trains

BHUBANESWAR: The East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run 13 pairs of super fast weekly summer special trains between Puri and Howrah to avoid extra rush of passengers during summer holidays.

According to an ECoR’s statement released on Thursday, 0896 Puri-Howrah super fast weekly summer special train will leave Puri at 9.45 p.m. on every Tuesday from April 1 to June 24 and arrive Howrah at 6.45 a.m. the next days.

Similarly, in the return direction, 0895 Howrah-Puri super fast weekly summer special train will leave Howrah at 8.55 p.m. on every Wednesdays from April 2 to June 25 and arrive Puri at 6.00 a.m. the next days.

This special train has one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tier, nine sleeper class coaches and six general second class coaches in its composition with stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Howrah.
