Wild animals seized from two schools

Kochi: The Forest Department officials seized some wild animals kept in two schools in Kochi for educational purposes on Wednesday.

The Department’s flying squad seized giant squirrel and crane from Rajagiri Higher Secondary School, Kalamassery, while one giant squirrel, monitor lizard, python, toddy cat, and an eagle (krishna parundhu) were seized from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Vaduthala, sources said. —PTI
