Henkel India observes safety week

KARAIKAL: Henkel India Limited here observed 37th National Safety Week on Wednesday.

R. Chitrambalam, Chief Manager (Works), who presided over the function, said the company cultivated safety awareness in employees and contract workers. The company had bagged several safety and environmental awards.

Sindhu Pillai, Senior Superintendent of Police, Karaikal, who was the chief guest, stressed the need for adopting safety measures in all industries. She distributed prizes to winners in safety competitions conducted by the company.

G. Agoramurthy, production engineer, M.L. Gopalan, management representative-ISO, Jegannathan, quality control executive and others spoke.
