Six juvenile home escapees nabbed

Coimbatore: The Coimbatore City Police have nabbed six of the seven inmates who escaped from the Juvenile Observation Home on Wednesday.

City Police Commissioner C.K. Gandhirajan said around 6.45 p.m., the inmates, M. Krishnan (16) of Tiruchi, M. Manojkumar (17) of Udhagamandalam, J. Ajith (17) of Sri Lankan Refugee camp – Tirupur, S. Praveen Kumar (16), M. Senthilkumar (16), A. Stephen (16) all from Coimbatore and Prakash (14) of Erode, escaped from the home by breaking open the locks. The city police formed special teams and within five hours, the teams secured six of them except Manojkumar.
